A training course on coffee roasting, packaging and marketing was given to some coffee producers, processors and representatives from the Local Government Units of Sablan and La Trinidad of Benguet; Tadian, Sabangan, Bauko, Besao and Sagada of Mt Province.
This training aims to improve the coffee industry in Benguet and Mt. Province.
The trainees learned how to make their produce competitive in the national market if not globaly.
It is sponsored by the Agricultural training institute in coordination with the office of the Municipal agriculture of Sagada, and attended by 32 participants from 7 municipalities of Benguet and Mt Province.
This training started on May 15 and will culminate on May 17.
